Each stairparts and outdoor balustrade collection is put through extensive testing by FIRA, the recognised authorities in timber product testing. Our products pass these tests with flying colours, so you can choose Richard Burbidge with confidence.

A large selection of our timber products are produced in Britain at our manufacturing facility located in North Wales; this not only reduces our carbon footprint but allows us to ensure we deliver the highest quality. We take pride in the quality of the wood, with rigorous inspection at various stages of production. Since it was acquired in 1989, our manufacturing facility forms part of our extensive business history so you can be rest assured that we are specialists in the craft of manufacturing timber products.

Richard Burbidge has received the ISO 9001 quality management certification, which is the international standard that specifies quality requirements. This certification means we consistently provide exceptional quality timber that meets and exceeds customer expectations.

We are meticulous in our timber selection, whilst also making sure the origin of our wood is from a sustainable source and are proud to be FSC® and PEFC® certified. This means we source a large majority of our timber from trees that are harvested as part of responsible and sustainable forest management.
