Yes we recommend acclimatising Richard Burbidge products before fitting to ensure your installation runs smoothly.

For stairparts and mouldings we recommend that you store the products in a room with the same or similar humidity to the room they will be installed in for at least 48 hours. This allows the timber time to become accustomed to the temperature, preventing any expansion or shrinkage issues in the future.

For decking accessories we recommend storing away from heavy rainfall and direct sunlight to prolong the life of the products. Stack the decking on bearers away with a waterproof cover to protect them, this will ensure air is able to easily circulate.

Delivery to your Branch

Deliveries will be made within 5 working days for orders placed by 5pm. We offer free delivery for orders over £200 or more. Orders under £200 are subject to a £25 delivery fee.

Direct to Customer Delivery

Deliveries will be made within 5 working days for orders placed by 5pm. Orders are delivered directly to your customer, and are subject to a £25 delivery fee.

Direct to Site Delivery

Deliveries will be made within 5 working days for orders placed by 5pm. Orders are delivered to a site address, and are subject to a £25 delivery fee.* 

Named Day Deliveries

For urgent deliveries we offer a named day delivery service, the fee is based on the weight and the cost is calculated on an order by order basis, price on application for this service. For orders placed by 3pm orders can be received as early as the following day.

Ireland, Channel Islands & Restricted Areas

Orders to these locations are looked at on an order by order basis by our sales team, and are excluded from named day delivery services.
